With enough imagination, a sport can be made out of anything. The Caber Toss is a classic example of this. Caber tossing is a traditional Scottish Highland Games event where athletes attempt to flip a large heavy wooden log, called a caber, end over end. The goal isn’t distance, but to have the caber land perfectly straight in line with the thtower’s path. So at the Wauchope Highland Gathering over the weekend, I had a crack at it.
