Happy Monday friends! We’re starting the day with mostly cloudy skies, isolated snow showers, and temperatures in the single digits to upper teens. The heavier concentration of snow is across northern New York as lake effect snow showers really take center stage for the day ahead.

Some models drop the wind chill into the negative 40s in the Twin Cities on Friday and Saturday mornings. Will it actually get that cold?

Snow showers continue Thursday as a winter weather advisory remains in effect. Cold air surges in at night plummeting wind chills.

Temperatures are returning closer to normal in the 20s and 30s but with that boost will come some snow across the state. The first round moves in later today. Northern Iowa is where we will see most of the impacts.
