Britain, already in the midst of one of its coldest and longest cold snaps in years, is set to endure heavy snowfall and strong winds later Thursday that weather authorities have warned could bring a risk to life.
Snow is forecast to start in Denver as early as 5 a.m. Thursday and continue until as late as 10 a.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Light snow is expected across Denver and the state Thursday, but with drier air, snow totals have dropped a little for the Pinpoint Weather Alert Days.
