While most brands are still getting to grips with simple RGB implementations of these next-gen screen technologies, Hisense is already adding a fourth color dimension.
Back at the top of the brand’s lineup is a new 163-inch MicroLED TV called the Hisense 163MX. The big change here is a different color: it’s bringing a yellow sub-pixel, making the industry’s first RGBY MicroLED tech.
Despite its large size, the Hisense Micro LED RGBY display has an ultra-slim 32mm profile and a zero-gap wall mount, allowing it to blend neatly into spaces. The 163MX Micro-LED RGBY display provides a glimpse into the future of MicroLED development. There are no details about the brightness levels yet, but it is indeed a development.
