To me Sentinel is proof positive that Uniden is a hardware company and should sub out it's software development. I can use Butel or ProScan and get a better set of Favorites Lists, Systems, Departments, Talk Groups and conventional frequencies in 1/2 the time it would take me to do it in Sentinel.
Hello All, I had been running my radio stuff in Windows 10 virtual machine running in Parallels on a Macbook Pro. It it time to get a dedicated laptop for radio stuff, but some of the models that I'm considering are Windows 11 only. Has anyone confirmed that Sentinel works on Windows 11?
Trying to install Sentinel and it wants to install netframe, fine it installs but sentinel never gets past that point and keeps asking to install netframe when it is already installed.
Using the free Uniden Sentinel software gets you the ability to access the RR database AND download it into the Sentinel program. I believe any licensing costs are paid for by Uniden and passed along to the end users as an inclusion in the price paid for the scanner, which is necessary for firmware updates anyway.
